Intimate Weddings: Renoir Inspired Picnic
Our wedding day was magical, simple (jean vests and all!). It was a nugget of life never to be recreated again, but in that fact lies the ultimate beauty. But, it is always fun to play pretend every now and again.
When Dawn Derbyshire, a local Pittsburgh Portrait and Wedding Photographer, approached me about modeling in a styled wedding shoot inspired by Pierre Auguste Renoir, my art-loving interest immediately peaked. Meeting Dawn in person sealed the deal. Her energy alone pulls one in to her creative world full of grander, romanticism, and above all fun. Whiskey poured, an over sized cheesy smile on my face, I batted my eyes at Ben asking him to model with me. His answer was yes and the day was yet another one to remember.
Pittsburgh continues to prove there is a creative talent pool miles deep. This shoot had some of best. Some folks are established powerhouses, others up and coming talent, all equally passionate about delivering work which triggers positive emotional reaction. Intimate Weddings, the go-to site for unique small weddings, recently published this Renoir Inspired Picnic Styled Shoot and I could not be more proud of everyone involved! Dawn, your vision lives.
